Our Commitment to Safe Play

At BetSuper, responsible gambling isn't a footnote — it's a core part of how we operate. We provide a full range of betting, casino, and live gaming services for entertainment purposes, and we are committed to ensuring that every player who uses our platform does so in a healthy, controlled way.

Problem gambling can affect anyone, regardless of background, city, or how often they play. Whether you're a regular betor in Kuala Lumpur tracking Liga Super Malaysia odds or a casual slots player in Penang, the same principle applies: gambling should stay within your means, your budget, and your emotional capacity.

BetSuper enforces a strict minimum age of 21 for all real-money activity on the platform. Our team actively monitors for signs of problem gambling behaviour and will reach out proactively where patterns of concern are identified. We take this responsibility seriously and we will always act in the best interest of our players — even when that means advising someone to take a break.

All responsible gambling tools described on this page are available to every BetSuper member, free of charge, at any time. You do not need to wait until gambling becomes a serious problem to use them. These tools are there to help you stay in control from day one.

The Golden Rules of Responsible Play

Set a budget before you play — and stick to it. Decide in advance what you can afford to lose, then stop when you reach that limit, regardless of whether you are winning or losing.
Gamble for entertainment, not income — Betting should never be treated as a reliable way to make money. Every bet carries risk, and no strategy guarantees consistent winings.
Take regular breaks — Don't allow gambling to consume your time. Set session time limits and step away from the platform regularly to maintain healthy perspective.
Never chase losses — One of the most harmful gambling behaviours is increasing bets or continuing to play in an attempt to recover lost money. Accept losses as the cost of entertainment.
Keep gambling in perspective — Never gamble when you are emotionally distressed, under financial pressure, or using it as a way to cope with personal difficulties.
Protect others — Ensure that minors under 21 cannot access your BetSuper account. Log out after every session and never share your login credentials with anyone.

Responsible Gambling Tools

BetSuper provides a comprehensive set of tools to help every player manage their gambling activity. All tools are available24/7 through your Account settings or by contacting our support team.

Deposit Limits

Set a daily, weekly, or monthly limit on the total amount you can deposit into your BetSuper account. Once a limit is set, it takes effect immediately — and reducing a limit is instant, while increasing one requires a24-hour cooling-off period before taking effect.

Loss Limits

Set a cap on the total amount you are prepared to lose within a defined period — daily, weekly, or monthly. When your loss limit is reached, you will be automatically prevented from placing further bets until the limit period resets.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum duration for each gambling session. When your time limit is reached, you will receive a notification and be logged out of the platform automatically. This helps you avoid losing track of time during gameplay.

Cooling-Off Period

Take a temporary break from BetSuper for a period of your choosing — from24 hours to 30 days. During a cooling-off period, you cannot log in, deposit, or place bets. This is ideal if you feel your gambling is getting out of balance.

Self-Exclusion

Request a longer-term self-exclusion of 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, or permanently. Self-exclusion prevents you from accessing your BetSuper account entirely during the chosen period. This is the most serious responsible gambling tool available and is not easily reversed.

Reality Checks & History

Enable on-screen reality check notifications that remind you how long you have been playing and your net balance at regular intervals. You can also review your full transaction and betting history at any time from your account dashboard.

How to Access These Tools

All responsible gambling tools are accessible directly from your Account Settings under the "Responsible Gambling" section. Alternatively, contact our 24/7 live support team who can apply any limit or restriction on your behalf immediately.

To request self-exclusion or a long-term cooling-off period, email our dedicated responsible gambling team at [email protected] with the subject line "Responsible Gambling Request". We will action your request within 24 hours.

Age Verification Policy

BetSuper maintains a strict and unwavering minimum age of 21 years for all real-money gambling activity on the platform. This is a non-negotiable requirement and applies to every registered user, in every country, including all Malaysian players.

During registration, all users are required to confirm that they are 21 years of age or older. However, self-declaration alone is not sufficient for account verification. Before any withdrawal can be processed, all users must complete our KYC (Know Your Customer) process, which includes submission of a valid government-issued identity document to verify age and identity.

In Malaysia, acceptable KYC documents include a valid Malaysian National Registration Identity Card (MyKad), a valid passport, or another government-issued photo ID document. We verify date of birth from the submitted document and will immediately suspend any account where the user cannot confirm they are 21 or older.

Any winings earned by an account that cannot verify the 21+ age requirement will be voided and any deposits returned, less any losses already incurred through gambling activity.

Protecting Minors: If you are a parent or guardian and are concerned that a person under 21 in your household is accessing gambling websites, we urge you to use parental control software to restrict access. Contact our support team if you believe a minor has accessed BetSuper.

How to Self-Exclude

Self-exclusion is a powerful tool that prevents you from accessing the BetSuper platform for a defined period. Here's how to request one:

1
Log Into Your Account

Sign in to your BetSuper account and navigate to the "Account Settings" section from your profile menu.

2
Go to Responsible Gambling

Select the "Responsible Gambling" tab within Account Settings. You will find all available limit and exclusion tools listed here.

3
Choose Your Exclusion Period

Select from cooling-off periods (24 hours to 30 days) or full self-exclusion (6 months, 1 year, 2 years, or permanent). Confirm your choice.

4
Contact Support Directly (Alternative)

Prefer to speak someone? Contact our live support team 24/7 or email [email protected] with "Responsible Gambling Request" in the subject. We will apply the exclusion within 24 hours.

5
Receive Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation once your self-exclusion has been applied. During the exclusion period, promotional emails will also be suspended automatically.

Recognising Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can develop gradually and is not always easy to recognise in yourself. The following are common warning signs that gambling may be causing harm. If you identify with several of these, please use BetSuper's responsible gambling tools or seek support from one of the organisations listed on this page.

You spend more money on gambling than you originally intended, or more than you can afford to lose.
You feel compelled to chase losses — continuing to bet in order to recover money you have already lost.
Gambling is affecting your sleep, work performance, relationships with family or friends, or mental health.
You have borrowed money, sold possessions, or used funds intended for essential expenses (rent, groceries, bills) to gamble.
You feel anxious, irritable, or restless when you are not gambling, or when you try to reduce or stop gambling.
You hide or lie about your gambling activity to people close to you.
You find yourself thinking about gambling frequently throughout the day, even when you are not playing.

Take aSelf-Assessment

Ask yourself these questions honestly. If you answer "Yes" to three or more, we strongly encourage you to use our responsible gambling tools or contact a support service.

Q1 Have you ever gambled with money that was set aside for essential expenses like rent, bills, or groceries?
Q2 Have you ever felt the need to bet increasing amounts of money to feel the same level of excitement?
Q3 Have you tried to stop or reduce gambling but found it difficult or impossible?
Q4 Have you lied to family members, friends, or colleagues about how much you gamble?
Q5 Have you borrowed money from others or taken on debt to fund gambling activity?
Q6 Has gambling caused significant problems in your work life, personal relationships, or mental health?
Q7 After losing money, have you returned to gamble again very soon in an attempt to win it back?

If you answered "Yes" to 3 or more of these questions, please consider using BetSuper's self-exclusion or deposit limit tools, or contact one of the support services listed below.
